We are comprised of two types of energy, life force energy and essence or soul energy. Every living thing is imbued with life force energy, recognized by many names across the world, such as "chi" in China, "mana" to the Hindu and "ki" in Japan. This life force energy is what allows our physical bodies to live. In order to thrive, this life force energy must flow freely through our bodies without blocks and be in abundant supply. The essence energy can be thought of as your soul or your spiritual self. It encompasses the intangible aspects of your being, including gifts, qualities, and aspects of who you are. When the physical body dies, this soul or essence continues. In creating a healing opportunity, it is useful to do healing work on the soul or essence level first. The soul or essence is the blueprint that tells the other levels of your being (your life force energy, your mind, your emotions and your body) how to be. It informs the universe and world around you what type of relationships and experiences to manifest. Shamanic healing and soul retrieval are very effective tools for working on this level. Once healing has occurred at the essence level, energetic healing can speed up the integration of the new blueprint for a whole and healthy life. Energy healing is an effective way for me to work directly with the life force energy- to replenish it, remove blocks and allow it to flow. Clients who come with a deep commitment to their personal healing and a willingness to change and grow often experience our work together as life changing. After a healing session, clients often find it harder to swallow their truth or accept situations where they are not being honored, regardless of the economic or emotional advantages of that situation. Soul Retrieval Life's traumas, dramatic or subtle, can cause portions of one's vital life force to become separated, creating dramatic imbalances in our lives. Symptoms such as depression, fatigue, memory gaps or general dis-ease can receive profound healing through soul retrieval. When performing soul retrieval, I journey into the shamanic world and retrieve these separated soul parts and return them to my client. Soul retrieval is one of my favorite healing techniques and one of the most powerful. One session is generally enough to address all past experiences of soul loss and can leave the recipient with unprecedented levels of vitality and wholeness. As part of the soul retrieval, I do a Power Animal Discovery to identify and connect you with two power animals. Power animals are spirit guides in animal form that provide a connection to primal life forces, protecting and guiding us in the physical and spiritual world. Discovering and forming a relationship with your power animal may alleviate conditions such as lack of energy, tendency towards mishaps, or feelings of vulnerability. Likewise, a relationship with your power animal can provide support and guidance through major life transitions. For more information see my article on Soul Retrieval. Some Shamanic Healing Work (described below) is included as part of a soul retrieval. Shamanic Healing Work During a shamanic healing, I take a journey on behalf of my client. Our guides assist with whatever healing is most appropriate based on the issue or request. Generally our guides help me make energetic shifts such as changing harmful soul contracts, removing energetic stamps to manifest undesirable circumstances, cutting cords, or strengthening and replenishing my client's energy and protection. In addition, they offer suggestions and information about the issue. These journeys have included past life work, clearing of energetic patterns, addressing energetic cords, helping the souls of loved ones to move on, communication and healing with animals, ancestral and family pattern healings, and much more. A shamanic journey can be used to answer questions, such as "What are the next steps on my spiritual path?"¯ or "What would be the effect of this choice?¯" The results can offer a different perspective on information you already have, providing you with the broadest possible basis for making choices in your life. In the course of a session I can generally address several issue or questions. One and Two Issue Shamanic Readings In this reading, I will consult with my guides for information and healing around one or two issues. After completing the shamanic work on your behalf, I will email you a brief description of the work I did and the information from the guides. This session can be used for questions such as: What are the next steps on my spiritual path? What can be done to help heal and balance my relationship with my partner (or mother or father…)? What can be done to help increase my financial abundance? The session can also be used for a request such as a healing around a specific issue or just whatever healing or information is in your highest and best interest. It is similar to a Shamanic Healing session, but much smaller in scope. These sessions are conducted entirely via email. For shamanic work on major trauma or big issues, a full Shamanic Healing session with soul retrieval (described above) is most appropriate. Energetic Healing
Every living thing is imbued with energy. Energy healing relies on this universal life energy, which is directed by and through the healer into the recipient. This healing energy can assist in attaining life goals, restoring health, releasing old behavioral patterns and emotional/psychic pain, and relieving symptoms of anxiety, depression, fatigue and stress. During the session, the fully clothed recipient relaxes on a massage table or in a chair. I gently place my hands on or over his or her body, working with the seven chakras (life energy centers) as well as any area I feel to be blocked energetically. Using lightweaving, (a dynamic technique to manipulate energy,) I balance the client's life energy and repair any damage to the person's energy field. The energy manipulation methods I use are a blend of Reiki, Seichim, and heart-focused healing energy, augmented by energy received from my spirit guides and those of my client. I also work with crystals and stones to provide an additional source and type of healing energy. During the session, all of these methods blend together for a gentle and profound healing experience. |
